블로그 방문자 10만명을 넘었을 때 포스팅 하나 하려고 했는데.. 어제 크리스벤와 죽음 포스팅으로 인해 무려 15000명이나 방문하는 바람에 그냥 흐지부지되었다. -_-;;
각설하고 루머를 보니 리드나워 <-> 애틀란타 11번 픽이 있네. 흥미로운 것은 시애틀에서 제시했다는 사실. 시즌중에 애틀란타에서 리드나워를 찔러본 적이 있었다. 그때는 시애틀이 1라운드 픽을 요구하면서 무산되었엇는데, 이번에는 시애틀이 찔러본 모양이군.
이런 루머는 소닉스가 루크 리드나워에 대한 기대를 슬슬 접어가고 있다는 것을 보여주는 것 같다. 풀 타임 주전으로 올라선지 3년째. 지난 시즌에는 발전은 커녕 오히려 퇴보하는 모습을 보여줬으니 그럴만도 하다.또 한가지 달리는 농구에 능한 포인트 가드 루크를 매물로 내놓으면서 소닉스는 달리는 농구는 포기. 수비와 하프코트를 중심으로 팀을 다시 짤 것을 분명히 한 것 같다.
만약 저 딜이 이뤄진다면 소닉스는 11번으로 애시 로를 뽑아서 포인트 가드 자리를 채울 것 같다. 소닉스 프론트가 애시 로를 좋아라하는 측면도 있고. 6-3으로 사이즈 좋고, 수비도 되면서 하프코트에도 적합하다는 평가도 받고 있으니 새롭게 구상하는 소닉스에는 잘 맞아떨어질 것으로 보인다.
그런데 이게 실현 가능성이 있나? 애틀란타도 루크가치가 떨어진 걸 모르지는 않을테고. 이참에 그냥 루크+윌콕스 팩키지로 묶어서 애틀란타 11번픽+조쉬 칠드리스+@ 정도로 함 찔러보지. 개인적으론 루크빠기 때문에 왓슨+윌콕스로 찔러보면 더 좋고.^^;;
그나저나 루크야..만약에 니가 다른 팀으로 떠나도 난 널 응원할꺼다..T.T
Ridnour trade talk emerging

The new face of the Seattle SuperSonics, general manager Sam Presti, reiterated Tuesday that the franchise is seeking players who fit the team’s revamped philosophy.
What does that mean?
It means drafting versatile athletes who play strong defense and like to compete and work hard, Presti said.
Presti addressed the media at a predraft news conference at the Sonics’ practice facility, the Furtado Center, two days before Seattle must decide what to do with pick Nos. 2, 31 and 35.
Later Tuesday, reports surfaced that Seattle and Atlanta were exploring a potential trade that would send point guard Luke Ridnour to the Hawks for the No. 11 pick, although Sonics officials would not confirm the reports.
Presti said the Sonics will look for players who can play and guard multiple positions while adhering to a more team-oriented defensive philosophy.
He also reiterated that the Sonics will not hire a coach until after Thursday’s draft, and he gave no timetable as to when a coach would be announced. During the 15-minute session Tuesday, Presti declined to comment specifically on individual candidates interviewed for the position.
However, reports have mentioned former Sonics assistant Dwane Casey and San Antonio’s top assistant, P.J. Carlesimo, as front-runners for the position left vacant when Bob Hill was let go at the end of the season. Utah assistant Tyrone Corbin and Sacramento assistant Scott Brooks also have been interviewed. It appears former Indiana coach Rick Carlisle is out of the running.
Seattle is expected to select Texas forward Kevin Durant with the second pick in the draft, although reports out of Portland have the Trail Blazers contemplating selecting Durant instead of Ohio State’s Greg Oden with the top pick.
Presti said Seattle would be happy with either player.
“You always like to have the first pick, obviously,” Presti said. “But I don’t think Portland is going to be looking to relinquish that.
“We’ll be prepared either way, and we feel good about that.”
Durant worked out briefly for the Sonics on Sunday. Presti was happy with Durant’s performance but said talking with the player and his parents was a bigger factor.
“In these instances the visits are probably more important than the actual workout,” Presti said. “I was pleased with the workout and the opportunity to see him out on the floor and show his skill level.
“But I think spending time with him and meeting his parents was a huge bonus as well.”
Seattle has received some interest in the No. 2 pick from other teams, but Presti seems content to stand pat.
Pick Nos. 31 and 35 are another matter. Presti said he would entertain packaging them to move up in the draft if he and newly hired director of basketball operations Scott Perry see a player they are enamored with.
“It depends on who is there and how the draft breaks,” Presti said. “If there is someone falling, we may feel like we want to try and be aggressive and move up for him.”
According to a Seattle Post-Intelligencer report, the Sonics have already started their efforts to revamp their roster by offering Ridnour to Atlanta for the No. 11 pick.
The Hawks, an athletic team which plays an up-and-down tempo, covets a guard with good passing skills. It appears Seattle has soured on Ridnour, a homegrown product groomed to replace Gary Payton who was in and out of the lineup last season.
Atlanta reportedly sought Ridnour’s services over the All-Star break. Ridnour’s agent, Lon Babby, is close with one of the Hawks’ owners and might have tried to facilitate a trade.
If a deal were to happen, the Sonics could use the No. 11 pick to draft a point guard.
Presti said whomever the Sonics draft Thursday will fit Seattle’s style of the future – a defensive-oriented team that can deal with adversity.
“We want to add good players to our roster,” Presti said. “At the same time, we will listen to different opportunities that may arise with those picks. It’s a deep, deep draft – especially toward the end of the first round.
“Part of our job is to try and identify pockets in the draft where guys can fall and what will potentially be there. And at this point in time, we feel like there could be good players in that range.”
